I am a regional trainer for Studio Home Dimensions Certification program by Polyform Clay and Dewberry Designs. I was skeptical about a "new clay program" but I have to tell you I am a changed woman. This is the first product that has REALLY got me excited about learning and teaching a new class sine I learned One Stroke Painting 8 years ago. The Studio Home Dimensions program is not to replace any of the current clay techniques but to fill a void that is currently open & crying for some business, Home Decor! There are many wonderful ideas and projects on the way! Things I've not seen before. They are fun, fast and easy to make too.
The clay: some of you have used other brands and Studio Sculpey is totally different and wonderful. It feels almost like it has been powdered-not sticky at all, so soft right out of the package and very easy on the hands to condition. It won't stick to it self unless you want it to. When you put a long thin sheet thru the pasta machine, it will fanfold under the rollers with out sticking to itself. We can do flowers, butterflies and leafs without having to use supports; it keeps it shape while baking but is still flexible to keep it from cracking after baked.
The 34 colors are geared towards home décor and they are gorgeous I love them all and expect them to make more colors in the future. They are packaged in 2.9oz hanging packs and will be scored differently than any other clay for easy measuring.
The tools that have been developed are so welcomed by the clay community and beginners for their ease of achieving a beautiful piece. They have gone way above and beyond to create great tools that everyone will want. You can Ruffle a rose pedal and watch other flowers come to life by using these innovative tools. A lot of careful thought went into making them for all of us.

The SDH trainers, some are long time clayers. One Stroke instructors and others that have a vast knowledge in crafting as a whole.
